| Tools
required: Large pliers or Channel locks
1) Remove original
fin strap attachment hardware.
2) Spread the new
stainless steel "D-ring", hook the ends into the fin
block (see below).

3) Crimp "D-ring"
into fin blocks with large pliers/channel lock; option - install
small tubing in the holes of the fin block to prevent wear.

4) Test the size/spring
stretch (limited by internal nylon cord), it is recommended to
actually wear your wet/dry boots and pull the fins on.
Attaching
to fins with 'snap buckles':
Option #1:
1a) Recommended
installation - drill/remove metal rivets holding buckles to fin.

1b) Crimp "D-ring"
into fin block with large pliers/channel locks.

Option #2:
2a) Crimp "d-ring"
through existing buckle hardware.

Alternate
attachment methods:
Tie the springs to the fins with cave line.
Purchase replacement strap hardware
(available at most dive shops).
Reshape the "D-ring" to accommodate almost any fin strap
configuration.
